Medi Trip has teamed up with Mwanga Children's Foundation to give hope and a fighting chance to some of the most disadvantaged children in Arusha. The children are all pre-Primary school age and come to Mwanga for the special care and basic education needed for a good start to their future.
Many of the children have special needs, disabilities and require physiotherapy, need additional psychological care and special education.
Teaching: Experienced teachers are crucial as volunteers to deliver training and expertise as well as deliver teaching to the children.
General childcare: Supporting the care of the children day to day. Helping with meal times, overseeing the children, helping with the upkeep of the centre.
Teaching first aid, assessment and delivering general medical care to the children. As well delivering small scale teaching and training to the local staff on first aid and general medical support
Assistants students are vital to help deliver the care the children required as the centre is also understaffed.
